2022 VMC Multicultural Awards for Excellence

The Multicultural Awards for Excellence (MAE) formally recognise people and organisations who have fostered cross-cultural understanding and supported those with migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds to participate in all aspects of Victorian life fully. The Black Diasporas - Melbourne/Naarm Project was awarded Overall Winner of the Community Innovation category.

2023 APVA Awards

The African Podcast and Voice (APVA) Awards is the celebration and recognition of Africa’s audio creatives, specifically podcasters, voice-over artists, and spoken word artists. Can We Talk About It?! Podcast was nominated for Diasporan Podcast of the Year and Podcast Art of the Year categories.

2023 WA Leadership Awards

The Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards program recognises an exceptional cohort of women blazing a trail across a variety of sectors, paving the way for future generations. The awards focus on integrity, highlighting the work of emerging women leaders who stay true to their values and principles in the face of key challenges and change. Our Creative Director, Charmaine Hunzwi, was a Finalist for the Agenda Setter of the Year category.
